MC 20 Crashes immediately
« on: April 05, 2015, 05:35:31 pm »

Hi -
I have been using MC 20 for Windows 7 for about a month and everything was fine. All of a sudden, it immediately crashes whenever I hit play. Any ideas what is causing this, and how to fix?

Welcome Zibby!  Sorry for the trouble.

Please read and follow:

If it crashes immediately when hitting play, the most likely culprit is hardware drivers (audio or video), so you could try updating those if you'd like.  If it is actually crashing, though, then the Log zip file will probably be enlightening.

I had this as well after installing an optional Realtek driver from Windows 7 update yesterday.  Restoring my previous configuration solved the problem.

Please try the latest build.  If you still have a problem, it is likely to be with something on your machine.  Antivirus, for example.

More details might help.  What changed?
