All other fields work OK.

If your still interested...

I've never seen MJ not sort properly.
Mine looks like this....

1. Artist
2. Type
3. Album
4. Track #
5. Name

(all ascending)

Post yours...

I should have clarified under what circumstances MJ 8 does not sort properly. If all the files are on a local disk,
there is no sort problem on any field.

In my case, I have all files on a networked computer,
and the path name is \\brio\c\songs\<dir>\<song>.
Here I would assume that all directories (dir)
would be listed together. It puts 90%
together and then few of them will be later.

So it's doing something like this?...(ascending Location sort)

\\brio\c\songs\mp3\<song>
.
.
\\brio\c\songs\mp3\<song>
\\brio\c\songs\ogg\<song>
\\brio\c\songs\wav\<song>
\\brio\c\songs\mp3\<song>

One solution may be to map \\brio\c\songs as a drive letter (ie s:) rather than the UNC path. So your mp3 directory will be s:\mp3. You may have to re-import the files, though.
