Best way to tag SHERLOCK HOLMES movie collection
« on: April 30, 2015, 05:05:18 am »

Hy guys,
I've buyed and ripped this movie Box http://www.amazon.com/The-Complete-Sherlock-Holmes-Collection/dp/B000EXZFRQ.

I've ripped those BDs in folder structure format.
So I've 5 main folders, one for every BD ripped.

Every BD contains 2 or 3 films. So If a disk has 2 films I've to point to 2 MPLS files.

It will be fantastic to see in the theater view mode only one cover for this boxset.
Once clicked on it I need to see the complete list of those 14 films.

Is it possible??

Many thanks for any help.

Yes, that's (in part) what I need!
Many thanks for the link!

But my situation is a Little bit harder...

I have some single Blu ray folder structure that contains 2 or 3 films.

So, in my case, I've to activate JRiver to read mpls files.
After that I've to create an item for Every mpls file that reproduce a film.

After that I Imagine that I can proceed with the method you linked me.

I'm right?
Can some one explain me how to make jriver able to read mpls files?
And how to create film item for Every mpls file that I need?

Unfortunately for your use-case, Media Center treats Blu-rays as a "disc" rather than individual playlists.
You would be best to use a tool like MakeMKV to split the disc into individual MKV files for each film.

On the subject of grouping by series, this topic covers it as well, with some additional options: http://yabb.jriver.com/interact/index.php?topic=92259

Thank you Guys,
now It's much clear.

Another small question:
with the conventional Blu Ray folder structure ...Is there a fast way to choose what content to play?
In Kodi If you have a BD in folder structure and you play the item a window appear with the list of the contents presents in the disc....

Is there something similar in JRiver?
