I was listening to the latest episode of Windows Weekly today in my car and there was a whole section about the Windows Media Center fanatics and their impending butthurt when they find out that Windows Media Center is dead.

I thought...

Great marketing opportunity.  In the show, Leo even asked "there are alternatives out there, right?" and Paul and Mary Jo both said "yeah, sure" and then couldn't name any.

Maybe a well timed ad in July on a podcast or two?  Maybe just an email (though that is, to some degree, preaching to the choir)?

Dunno.  Made me think of you guys.

We're definitely watching it.  Thanks.

Considering that we had steamed cabbage for dinner, that might not be a problem.  :-[ :D

I love cabbage.

I do too, if prepared well.

All I ever hear mentioned on podcasts is Kodi. Marketing somewhere like TWiT (Leo is into Pono and buys Hi-Res) would probably be a good idea but man this board would really be lighting up.

The press often follow others.  They read other articles and write similar ones.

Six months ago, Tidal was Wimp.  Nobody had heard of it.  Then the press found it.  Jay Zee found it.  Tidal was a star.  That lasted about two weeks before the press started writing about Tidal's woes.

But Leo is a good guy.  We should shower him with attention.  Unfortunately, he has a lot of ground to cover.  I did have a very brief conversation with him a couple months ago when he said something nice about our player for Pono.
