Windows 7 Home Premium, all windows updates.

I stop playing audio directly from MC for a while, like going to the store. I come back and hit the play button and nothing happens. It doesn't matter if I'm playing from a playlist.

I have to right click on the Media Server and click Close Media Center.

I wait for it to unload, watching it in task manager.

Then I start Media Center and it works fine....till next time I stop and go away for a while.

I do have WDM driver installed and working.

What else do you need to know? Is there a debug/tracing mode?

Try power cycling your DAC or receiver.

Drives spin down after a while. 

Try a local file if you're playing from the network.

Pause and stop buttons are different.  Try both.
