Status of v.9.1.258
« on: September 24, 2003, 07:41:10 am »

I see that a newer version has been out on the FTP site since yesterday, yet there has been no official word about it.

Speaking as a pathetic dial-up user (who has no access to broadband in this area), should I spend 50 minutes of my life downloading it?

Not worth the trouble.  We added some hooks for a project we're working on, so it isn't anything of general interest.

Thanks for the feedback!

The current version (v.9.1.257) seems bug free for me (other than that 4-5 hour lockup problem which I concede is probably something on my end), so I am not disappointed.  I was just curious. :)

You and me both.  And I also remember the joy I felt when I upgraded to a 2400 baud modem!  :D

I can't sync with the CO for DSL--I've had them come out twice, and they told me the same thing both times.

Comcast swears up and down that cable modem will be available in my area by year's end, but AT&T used to tell me the same thing every year since 1998.  :-/

And though I could afford it, I have no interest in paying that outrageous price for satellite access for a mere 384 kbps. ::)
