Toggle Theater View with remote not working
« on: June 13, 2015, 07:34:13 am »

I installed MC 20.0.115 and I noticed one of my remote commands is not working if the MC20 window does not have focus.

"Toggle Theater View" works if MC20 is the active window but once minimized to the taskbar, it does not respond.

All other commands are working and with the same configuration, I had working in MC19.

I tried to use an command line call as well, but that also did not work.

Any suggestions?

TIA,

AL

Same problem here. It looks like it is issuing a bunch of commands at one time, including "Play Doctor scan" or something like that. Then it crashes MC for me.

In MC's settings for Startup, tell MC to run Media Server on Windows start.

In MC's settings for Startup, tell MC to run Media Server on Windows start.

That is how I have it configured.

It starts up minimized, but when I press my button to launch theaterview nothing happens.

The button only works if I have MC20 in focus.

I had the same settings in MC19, changed nothing and it had worked there prior to me updating.

There is also an option to disable Windows Media Center.  Did you try that?
