This popped up yesterday, while still using build 254, but everything is working smoothly. I rip a CD, and then suddenly, everything that I play through MC sounds distorted. I verify that it's MC by trying MediaPlayer and it works fine. I then install the latest build, 256, and then it still happens.
Here's where it gets odd.... if I open the DSP, set the "Output Format" to 4 channels or 5.1 channels, it plays fine. I don't have a surround sound card, nor have I ever had to use these settings before. Does anyone have any ideas what caused this and what might fix it or prevent it from happening again?
I've added the system info hoping that it might help.
