New Update Crashes On Second Track?
« on: July 17, 2015, 03:18:37 pm »

Hey, the latest update (not beta) seems to crash any time I play another track. The first track I play, no problem, the second one the program locks up and tells me to quit.

Any ideas?

What version is it?  20.0.131 is at the top of this board.

What are you playing?

From a local drive?

Antivirus problem?

Sorry it says .124
I'll try updating I guess

No its coming from a local server with the same version. No antivirus on either computer, they're on a closed local network purely for in home music streaming since all those hard drives would be weird sitting next to my dedicated audio room.

Still freezing but after 20 seconds track begins.

Not sure what is up. The computer I'm using is an i7 4970k with 16GB of RAM, and a pair of GTX 970s. No reason it should be lagging or anything

Is the second track the same audio type and format? What if you create a playlist just to play the first track over again - will it freeze then or is it only freezing when it changes to a specific file? Do you have DSP settings on? http://wiki.jriver.com/index.php/DSP If so, maybe try a different setup.

Yes same format. I will try the play list thing.

Yes I use DSP to derive bi amp channels as well as stereo subwoofers

I created a playlist with just the one track, as it was playing. Upon clicking the track in the playlist I had the hang + delay. However once it loaded, letting the track play through and fade into itself, no issue.
