Rachel is doing much better and is past all the danger points.  She is no longer hooked up to any I.V.'s or other tubes and has some mobility between the bed and the chair.  She is expected to be discharged to a physical therapy rehabilitation facility nearby within the coming week.  There is still some time and a good deal of work for her before things return to 'normal'
(or as close as we get to normal anyway)  

Thank you all again for the prayers, positive thoughts & energy directed our way.
And thanks for welcoming me back, nice to be noticed and cared about

Thanks for the update on Rachel and I'm so happy to hear that she's making enough progress to be discharged to a rehab facility.  As a therapist, I can tell you that the real work is now beginning.  I'm sure you will both find the experience to be a very positive one.
