MCC Core command question
« on: July 13, 2015, 11:16:13 am »

Hi,
Suppose I have a file I've never played before or I played it to the end.
If I run the following MCC_RESTART_PLAYBACK command:
MC18.exe /MCC 10057,0 C:\MyTestVideo.m2ts
will the file play?

MCC's don't take those kinds of parameters (the file path). Only those from The Command Line documentation that take <playitems> parameters:

If you need the file in question to never obey a Bookmark, you can set that on the file itself easily. What are you trying to accomplish?

Looking at a way to tell MC to play a file and if partially played restart it at that point.

MC does this now with bookmarks.  Here's the wiki topic:
http://wiki.jriver.com/index.php/Bookmarking

By default, a bookmark is set when you press stop.

Pressing stop twice clears the bookmark.

It's also a tag that can be edited or cleared.
