Hi I have jriver 19 installed. I have been going crazy trying to find out why my external usb drive keeps being activated and I hear the popcorn sound like it's working often.
Finally through process monitor I figured out everytime the noise appears jrworker.exe is processing.
I checked in MC (library and folders, auto import- run auto import in background is checked) which is ok . But when I go to configure auto import I see
\\server\photos
\\SERVER\Music\My Music\
Nowhere is there my USB drive which is my I: drive.
So why does it keep accessing it? Can I stop this without turning off auto import pointing to the server?
My system has 2 ssd drives to keep as quiet as possible therefore annoying my backup drive keeps being accessed.
Thanks

If you did import files from that drive, MC might be analyzing them or building thumbnails. You could turn that off or you could do all the files so they are finished.
In the search window, type I: to see if you have files imported from that drive.

No I never did an import from that disk it is used for backup.
In auto import the only thing that shows is what I listed above.
I did try to do a search for I: and nothing comes up.

I don't know. It might be worth trying the trial version of MC20.
