Can client be controlled from server?

My players, a second laptop (with JRiver) and NMedium Windows phone remote can play themselves or my server. In addition, either player plus the server can play to my OppO105.

But, I cannot push music to either.

is this just how it is or can they be configured as zones? (not sure if zone is the correct word)
