Theater View missing translations:
Keyword
keyword
Showroom
showroom
Disk
disk
Home Videos
home videos

Could you also add a specific string for Quit Theater View so I can translate it correctly.

In DSP Studio, when you want to delete Equalizer, Pitch & tempo etc., these names are not translated.

I'm a little confused by this one.  That button for me is "Load/Save" and it shows a list of names I've entered when I saved a preset.  So it isn't showing the list of DSP names at all.

Advice?

My mistake! Some presets were previously saved in english (I don't know why or when). But the window when deleting is in english and cannot be translated.

I shouldn't write advice but opinion.

When I highlight an album, many informations appear with no translation:
Plays: 0 / file
Played
Rating: no files rated
Most Played: no files played

And I don't understand the meaning of number of files played / file. Shouldn't be number of files played / total files?

Last but not least File should use the plural when the number of files are > 1.

These strings are still not translated in the last version of JRiver.

I also find a strange behaviour in Options > Add or configure DLNA servers... > Customize views...
If you add an item then remove it, the Add button turns grey. But if you select it, the grey fades out. The button shouldn't change.

Menu consistency

- in 'File > Library', Library Manager should be replaced by Manage Library.
- in 'Tools > Advanced Tools', Ringtone should be replaced by Create Ringtone.
- in 'Tools > Advanced Tools', Audio calibration should be replaced by Calibrate Audio.

I can't translate two sentences in french in the language file. Could you change them (or add specific singular and plural form)?

%d playlist%s %s truncated to the maximum size of %d tracks.
-->
%d playlist%s truncated to the maximum size of %d tracks.

%d playlist%s %s skipped because of having fewer than %d tracks.
-->
%d playlist%s skipped because of having fewer than %d tracks.

The third %s cannot be translated for grammar reason.

Same with this sentence :

Are you sure you want to delete %d PonoRevealer Track%s from your PonoPlayer?

I need a singular and plural for translation:
track = morceau in french
tracks = morceaux in french

That one is tough.  We're showing the stored m_strAppearance that WebGizmo has.  One of the appearances is named "Default".  I'm not sure how to translate it without breaking it.

The translation for Exit Theater View is this:
Exit %s

Because the string Theater View is baked into the program.

In french (and in many other languages), we don't always put the adjective before the noun.

ie: we don't say Inconnu Album but Album inconnu. Same with Genre, Artist, Date, etc.
So please add specific strings at least for Unknown Album, Unknown Artist, Unknown Genre, Unknown Date.

The column title Rip and Track cannot be translated.

You really should understand that in most languages (french, russian, spanish, german, etc.) adjectives have a singular form AND a plural form. They change their form depending on the gender or number of the noun.

e.g. Don't write :

Would you like the following %s to be removed
with
empty folder and empty folders

But write :

Would you like the following empty folder to be removed
and
Would you like the following empty folders to be removed

If you don't keep in mind that adjectives should be variable when you add new strings, your translations will be always incorrect.

Thank you!

Also, the zero determiner rule is specific to english language.

e.g. Don't write :

Remove %s?
with
empty folder and empty folders

But write :
Remove empty folder?
and
Remove empty folders?

I know that this writing will add a lot but you should ask yourself if you want a better translated software or not.
