This is a fantastically executed player. Thank you very much. That said, here are some problems with it on IOS 8.4.1.
JRemote bugs / feature requests
1. Add a button to the pause/play/skip/repeat button to stop playing after current song in playlist.
2. Using dark scheme for "playing now", album thumbnails that are not perfectly square are shown with white letterboxing (above or beside) when the (i) button is pressed and the track info or artist bio is shown.
3. When using the "auto" settign for thumbnail display in the playist, if the playlist is showing thumbnails because it contains songs from multiple albums and the playist is then edited so only one album's songs remain, then when leaving editing mode, thumbnails remain shown for songs on the screen. But when the playlist is scrolled, thumbnails will not be shown for songs that are then shown in the list.
4. The "skip back" button should skip back to the beginning of a song that is currently being played. Pressing it a second time after a short pause should then skip back to the previous song.
5. When the playlist contains songs from one album and thumbnails are not being shown, the album and artist lines after each song title are redundant and should be removed. This would allow more songs to be seen at once.
6. When a song is playing, it is not possible to see how long the song is because the blue "playing" icon replaces the song length. One can add up the times on the left and right of the position slider or press the info button. The current song's length could be displayed in the same areas as the cover/title/bitrate/etc.
7. Please add a "clear playlist" button on all screens, including search and playback/playlist. All too often I have to make multiple presses to clear the playlist before adding other songs to it.
8. Add prev/next icons to the left and right edge of the dispaly to scroll through all "assets" once one has been opened full screen. As it is, you have to close the current one, press the paperclip icon, scroll the list to the next "asset", and select it.
9. Find an interaction metaphor that allows many songs to be selected and removed at once when editing the playlist. Tap/Tap on opposite sides of each song is cute but painful when removing many songs.
10. JRemote crashes when switching libraries in J River 19 on a PC.
