OT- Skinned, Tabbed Internet Explorer?
« on: December 15, 2004, 01:55:20 pm »

I saw this the other day and just wonder if anyone else has seen/used it?
Looks cool, but I can't find if it is an 'Ad supported' thing. I do not like to install ad ware. It's so hard to get all of it out afterwards.

So, anyone have any info?
Thanks!

Just downloaded and installed it...

I am about to uninstall it... It's to "Flashy" there are a whole 2 skins. It seems slower then IE..

If you want a Tabbed ie, try Maxthon, It's built on IE.

Just use Firefox. (I was a big fan concerning 'MyIE' or 'Maxthon')
http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/

And to make it perfect and fullfill all your wishes: Download the 'Tabbrowser Extensions':
http://piro.sakura.ne.jp/xul/_tabextensions.html.en

And last but not least: It allows you to control MC over the status bar without leaving the browser:
http://www.iosart.com/foxytunes/firefox/

All in all it works perfect for me. Why do you want a skinned, tabbed *IE*?

Because I don't like Firefox. Didn't ask for info about Firefox. Could care less about hearing about Firefox when I ask about something completely different.

To see how 'perfectly' FF works, simply click the "logout" button at the top of this page.

Not to be picky or anything... but your request prompted me to try it. It logged me out.

At first...I thought maybe IE does it differently... so I logged into the forum in IE....then logged out... umm... hate to say it ... but they do exactly the same thing. Or maybe... I'm happy to say it?

Ah, you have new cookies I'll bet.

No matter.
If I had asked "Please tell me about various tabbed browsers", cool.

I didn't.

I'd also add, "be kind with the people who try to help you. Most of the times they are just that... trying to help you".
