YADB
« on: February 03, 2005, 02:43:43 pm »

I recieved a number of CDs I'd purchased and would like to rip copies using YADB to either receive tag info or submit tag info. The first CD I tried was Cream's The Very Best of Cream. This CD was released in 1995. I assumed that it would be in YADB but when MusicCenter connected to YADB the message I got was that it retrieved info for 0 of 20 tracks.

Surprised, I entered the basic tag info myself (i.e. Track Name, Artist, Album Title, Year, Genre) and tried to submit it. MusicCenter went through the process of sending the info and I received back a notification that 0 of 20 tracks were accepted.  What am I doing wrong? At this point I'm about to say "Oh just forget about YADB!" but I'll put off doing that pending your response. Thanks for your help.

You are using the Individual track lookup. Put the CD in the drive and do "Lookup CD from database", it should be found.

Make sure the Genre is not empty when submitting individual tracks.
