I merged them, but I think some may have been lost.  If so, I'm sorry.  The forum software did it.

FWIW (and IMV obviously) the effect is to make it look like you don't really want feature requests, at least above a certain size anyway. I don't know whether that is true, and it's obviously entirely your prerogative if it is, but anyway that's the impression.
