Korean Language Support
« on: September 30, 2008, 11:56:21 pm »

Hi, in Media Jukebox, my Korean songs show up as boxes.  Japanese and Chinese characters work fine.  I have korean language support on my OS (WinXP Pro SP3) which shows up fine in other programs such as Word and iTunes.  Is there any fix for this?  Thanks.

Do Korean characters work in your web browser?

Have you tried the same song in iTunes?

What do the tags look like?

It's not just one song.  It's every song I have with a Korean title.  Korean characters outputs just fine on my computer -- both in the operating system and in my web browser.  iTunes outputs the titles perfectly.  The tags of songs are normal, except that in the title field there are rectangular boxes where there should be Korean characters.  I've even tried retagging some of the songs, but they still show up as boxes.

Could it be that a Korean font isn't being used as the default font in MJ?  A complete guess, sorry I can't be more help...
