I'm still struggling with a subtitle issue, maybe someone can help me.
I'm running MC on a front projection system on a 16:9 screen in my homecinema. To get a good contrast feeling, in 16:9 all sides are masked.
If a 2.25:1 film is running, I shift the whole picture down, because the upper mask is electrically adjustable. I use the command in the on-screen menu, normally 14%. This works really good for me.
But, doing this, the subtitles, which are normally in the black area below the picture, are also shifted in nirvana
Is there a way to move the subtitles higher into the picture or to position them in a fixed position, independent from the film position?
