Lost Your License? Here's how to get it back and
Restore Your License. You can upgrade your old version to a new Master License for $29.98.
JRiver TelevisionBecause Windows Media Center is no longer available, we have a stream of new customers headed our way. We've made changes to accommodate their needs and plan to make more.
Kickstarter Campaign for Copy Once SupportJRiver has a new
Kickstarter campaign, with a video message from our CEO, Jim Hillegass, about a project to add support for Copy Once material from U.S. cable companies. Kickstarter is a "crowd funding" site, helping small businesses raise money for new products. Our goal is $100,000.
More on the forumTV ImprovementsThe Electronic Program Guide (EPG) changed for the better in MC21. Percdata is now available, and mc2xml has been updated. The EPG uses color coding to emphasize categories like news or sports. Recording Rules can be used to fine tune what is recorded.
Retina and 4K DisplaysMedia Center has deep support for Retina mode on Mac and 4K monitors on Windows. Using the latest builds, just plug in your high resolution monitor and enjoy how wonderful Media Center looks.
Doctor Who Playlist ServiceDoctor Who can back up your playlists to our server now, and you can download playlists from other users. This is a fascinating way to find new music. Any tracks you don't have can be played as samples. Full access to the tracks is available for a fee. Several hundred playlists are already available.
DSDNew support for DSD256 (Quad DSD) files in DoP format. Some DAC's only support DSD in the DoP format. Added upsampling to DSD256 in DoP format.
Update or UpgradeIf you own an MC21 license, you can just
download and install any new build of MC21. If you own an older version, you can
upgrade at a discount.
Id Price DecreaseOur parts costs have dropped, so we've lowered the
JRiver Id prices by 10 to 20%. The Id (rhymes with hid) is a great DLNA Renderer or Server and uses less than 10 watts of electricity.
It's based on the Intel NUC.
QNAP NASOur
QNAP version has launched. It's on their App Center.
Good NewsWe've had another record year for sales of JRiver Media Center, thanks to you. We really appreciate your continued support.
Warm regards and Happy Holidays!
