You are correct, sir. The Registration Codes had been relegated to my junk folder. I apologize for wasting your time addressing what should have occurred to me.
1) The email says that the first thing that I need to do is to install the "correct" version of MC first, with the link taking me to a download of MC23. Does this mean that I must have MC23 installed before I can advance purchase MC24? I would really rather not bother with this step if it is not absolutely necessary.
2) The next link is for "older" versions. Why would I need to be concerned with older versions if MC23 (or the latest version) should be installed first as part of the process of reserving the upgrade at a discounted price? This confuses me.
3) Is there a way that I can purchase in advance (at the discounted price), MC24 and deal with the various installations and license recoveries at some future time when I have a couple of hours to do so? I just don't have the time for this tonight given more pressing responsibilities.
Here is a copy of the instructions that were sent to me (with my codes removed, of course):
Install the Correct Version First
You must install the correct version of JRiver Media Center first and then restore your license. The latest version of JRiver Media Center is available on our download page:

I sense that some patience is being summoned to deal with my questions; unfortunately, in spite of a technical engineering career spanning >30 years, I am confused.
