I have reported in some past threads that I am getting an error in recording. While this is true, I have found that recording actually does work even though the "Test" doesn't. I can't control the volume even though I turn MC's recording volume all the way down and also the "recording" and "mixer" volume in my sound card controls. There is also no volume slider in MC. I didn't know it was supposed to be there until reading some recent threads.
All this leads me to believe that it has something to do with my sound card configuration. How does one go about re-installing it? I have tried deleting it from my system devices and having an automatic reinstall upon startup but that doesn't seem to change any behavior. Help would be appreciated.

In .99 the audio analyzer seems to be broken, it is analyzing everything to 100% peak volume.

Bugs:
1. When highlighting multiple tracks in a playlist (my test was in Recently Imported) and pressing Delete, the tracks are deleted but the selection/highlight remains...so the tracks that scroll up and replace the deleted tracks are automatically selected...UI bug.

There is no need to re-post bugs you've posted in the bug thread for builds 98 or 99.  We'll take a look at those next week.

I just imported 3 new albums into MC and only 2 were automatically updated into my Smartlists, the other I had to go in and do manually.

This bug has been around a long time...with multiple sound devices under XP Home, the MC volume control is always changing the volume of the system default sound device instead of the zone specific sound device.

Windows ME:

Well, there's good news and bad news.  MC now makes an attempt to look up using yadb, but I've yet to have it actually recognize a disc  (and these are discs that I know are in freedb).  But, at least if the disc is not recognized, the track numbers are listed so that the disc is playable, although no data is listed, and MC is not requiring me to manually enter the CD data when its not picked up by yadb....

I read the request not to repost bugs, but until the tagging issue is fixed  (MC won't let me change ANY data, such as ratings, comments, genres, etc--this bug didn't occur until the 99 build), I really can't do much with the ipod plugin....

1. No desktop icon
2. The entry for JRiver Media Center on the program      listing (from the start menu) shows 'empty'
3. No volume controls (see separate thread)
4. Trying to burn gives a 'cannot start burn' message
5. Trying to delete a file from the hard drive gives :-

I've just installed MC 9.0.100. For some reason I can't find the option to go to CDDB instead of YDDB.

Any solutions ?

John !

Thanks for your reply.

I have a collection of more then 700 Cds from all the genres I am intended to move to the Nomad Jukebox 3 40G I've bought couple of weeks ago.

I can't waste my time putting all the tracks manually so info support is of crusial importance.

YDDB is not the match to CDDB (o lot of CDs especially classical comes "unknown"). I don't know why you stop supporting CDDB (licensing fees) but it's a MAJOR setback for me in my decision to use or not to use your program.

Are you planning to reinstall support for CDDB in the near future ?

Is it a way to automatically eport track infos from Music Collectorz program ?

1. Media Editor hangs on "decoding" when sending an mp3 from MC9 ("send to external tool")

2. YADB can't even find the 8 Miles soundtrack (Eminem)...wazzup?

Fine, it plays tracks now, but with an attitude.

Some tracks sound as if they had been recorded from a vinyl player that had problems keeping the same(!) speed for the time of recording. They sound ok when I play them with Real player, let alone on the CD player.
MJ 8 replayed them ok too. Format: mp3, VBR 192kb.
(NB: At the time of listening I was cold sober...)

Any ideas what MC is trying to tell me?

For what it's worth, system details below...

Media Center doesn't clean up the start menu or the add/remove programs during install.

Currently I have:
Start menu -
- Media Jukebox 9.0 folder
- Media Center 9.0 folder
- J River Media Center
Add/Remove Programs -
- Media Jukebox 9.0
- Media Center 9.0

1. YADB still not working good. Looks in Artist instead of Album Artist and returns obscure results. (My Muse songs returned songs by Coldplay ?)

2. Can't edit fields unless you open the properties window. It just never saves the updates you do.

3. Analyzing audio: Replay gain is ALWAYS -22.54dB!

4. It would be nice if you could add a view sorting by Album artist (Auto) and it would actually work. I guess the Auto means that if no Album Artist is given, the software uses the Artist field.

>> YADB still not working good.
Are you doing CD Lookups Or Digital ID Lookups?

If your doing CD Lookups it does not look at the fields it looks at the Size of tracks and Num Of Tracks On The CD.

Somtimes there are CD's that will match, CDDB Called this a fuzzy match. when more than one CD returns somthing other than an Exact match.

-----------------------------------

If your doing a YADB Digital ID lokup YADB does not look in the fields it scans your file for a Digital Fingerprint and then looks for it on the server. it has nothing to do with fields.

--------------------------------------------

>> 3. Analyzing audio: Replay gain is ALWAYS -22.54dB
Not me

Maybe somthing is wrong on your system \ Maybe somthing to do with your MC databases that you can not detect?

--------------------------------------------

As far as i Know MC9 Does not use "album artist" as a field, but if you had it when you upgraded from MJ8 to MC9 it will include it in the database. but as far as i know it will not use the ID3v2 Field for this it will use the comment field to store it in.

look at your files where you can see your tags, and see what id3v2 field it is stored in.

Bugs

1.  CD Labeler is not recognizing internal artwork.  This is an old bug that was fixed in V8.

2.  Install program removes all file associations.

3.  Changes made in content view are not saved, as reported by Faruz.

Request

Change closing of CD Labeler from automatic to manual.  I generally print the label first and then have to reopen the Labeler to print the cover.  If I'm not satisfied with the results, it has to be reopened each time a label prints.

BUG:

Decode files to cd (from APE) causes MC to initialize Audio Analysis when Start is selected for the burn. RG is not selected in the DSP settings. Why would it need to do this if it is not one of the options picked?

Also Gapless does not stay selected when chosen from this set of options. Instantly sets back to default when OK is clicked. Either with slider or the drop-down.

ADDITIONAL:

AAC and MP4 files are A.W.O.L. again. MJ8 can see and play at least the mp4s. AAC has not been seen by either version.

A nice surprise after rebooting is the change of Explorer icons for all of my MP3 files to a new icon which displays the bitrate.  I was playing around with a few MP3 utilities that I downloaded so I'm not sure if the change is the function of MC or of some other program.  I hope it's because of MC!

Guys,
 I can't end MP3's to my player anymore!!!!  >:(

I get the following message as an error from media core every time I try and do it:

Title: media core
----------------------------------------------------------------
Error signature:
Appnbame: media jukebox.exe AppVer: 9.0.100.0 ModName:hh_por~1.dll
ModVer:1.0.0.0 Offset:000150c8

I've tried different tracks and it does it always during the transfer of several tracks.  I'm using a Kiiro 128Mb player that interfaces with windows XP professional as a shared drive.  Version 90095 was fine, 100 has caused the problem.  I installed on top of 0095.

Help!!!  I was just about to purchase too....  :-[

Hi all

You are still doing a good job and moving in the right direction. Think of all the essential things that have already been fixed!

Now I don't want to complicate the issues at hand or suggest a major change but... have you thought about another free database that you could link to? Maybe freedb http://www.freedb.org/ is a better choice than YADB? Just a suggestion I don't know if it is but you may want to take a peek at it.

Importing mp3 files renames Track# tag 01 to 1... adding the option to fix 1 to 01 a la Tag&rename could be in place :)

Newhere> YADB is based initially on freedb data plus what all the MC users have added.  J River will continue to use YADB as it is their own sytem... they own the datbase and wrote the code to access it.  As far as I can tell there are not actually any problems with YADB. I haven't found any genuine shop bought cds yet that were not in it...

Well if it is based on freedb it should easily get any 8 Mile info that is out there... Just surprising that 'Roger_the_Shrubber could not get that.

Bugs:
1. No matter how you set the Behavior settings (in Options), you cannot make selecting (highlighting) a subset of tracks in a playlist and pressing [Enter] replace Playing Now tracks and just add the selected tracks.  MC always add all of the tracks in the playlist being viewed and starts playback at the first track selected.  One would think that pressing [Enter] would follow the 'Play button' behavior, but it does not.  How do we just press [Enter] to queue/play only the selected tracks?

2. After every CD burned by MC, MC makes my CD-RW/Rom drives inaccessible.  I have to stop and restart MC to gain access to my CD-RW and CD-Rom drives.  Otherwise, Windows report 'Please insert a disc in drive X:' error...and MC does not recognize a disc is inserted either (obviously).  [The burn was successful.]

3. I have 'Eject after write' option set and MC is not ejecting the CD after burning a CD.  [The burn was successful.]

4. The CD burner is 'wacked' on its burning capacity indications...it thinks the capacity limit for CD-Rs is 680mb and for CD-RWs is 620mb.  Yet, I routinely burn 702mb and 641mb (respectively) w/o problems using MC...I just press 'Ok' to the 'over capacity' warning the CD burner pops up.  Seems like we need a user settable 'advanced' option that lets us 'tell' MC what we know our burner(s) can do.

My libray back up (MC .100) works fine.

What doesn't is the tag look up.

Every CD returns no tag info. Just bought a whole stack to rip  (All top 50) and none of them return tag info.

It goes through the process of looking OK but fails to find any info.

Re: no tag info

Yeah, I finally got the HTPC together and began serious ripping this weekend, only to find that I'm striking 000 on YADB hits.  I thought, okay, maybe Bruce Dickinson's solo albums aren't _that_ popular, but when Ozzy's No More Tears failed to get a match, I knew something was wrong.

Some people are complaining about YADB itself, but it'd be nice to know it's simply a bug in the lookup.

Also, in case this hasn't been mentioned: from .88 to .100, the ability to edit track info directly in the list view has ceased to work.  You can rename the track name, for instance, and if you hit Enter, or tab, or an arrow key to move to the next song, it reverts back.  In the absence of YADB success, this is salt on the wounds as it makes naming tracks a real chore.

Disclaimer: I appreciate it's a beta product and only look forward to better things ahead!

Take care,

-Doug

Media editor will not decode APE format.

Also, there no longer seems to be a way to select a 2 second gap when burning CD's.  I don't use the feature that much but when I do convert our church sermons from tape to CD, I like to use the 2 second gap that used to be available.

Thanks all.

Hi all at JRiver

When I send a CD to a playlist it's icon color changes from red to black. It then seems to think it is a ripped file and not a CD anymore.
Why do I send a CD to a play list you may well ask....
Because when I type in the CD info and then rip only certain fields are written into the tag fields. and so I make a playlist to copy and paste to sync them.

I would prefer if all fields that were changed while typing in the CD info would be transfered durring the ripping process. If there is something I am missing out on I would appreciate a pointer as I still have over 100 CDs to type in and RIP about 60 done sofar.
I use a custom VBR mp3 to encode

-b 192 -m j -h -V 3 -B 320 -q 3 -k

I realise it says MC ver9.0.88 here I have MC 90100on a wk200 partition thats not non the web
Many Thanks

Fixes: the "Invalid Entries in Database" bug (378,039 files) is no longer a problem for me. Also, "Export Playlist" is now active simply from selecting the Playlist in the Tree View.

Bugs:

1. Files with extensions JPG and JPEG are imported. JPG's can be opened within MC, but JPEGs get a "File not found" message. I think the extension is getting truncated to 3 characters.

2. Pressing "Shift+Click" in the new scrollbars does not move the scroll position directly to the Shift+Click position; it only moves it a page in that direction.

3. Pressing "Enter" while viewing songs plays all displayed songs, not all selected songs. No option found to change this behavior.

4. Smartlists and Playlists do not copy. If you drag-n-drop a list to a Playlist Group while holding the Ctrl key, the [+] "copy cursor" is shown, but the list is moved - not copied.

5. Using "Export Playlist...", playlists are now unusable due to Unicode.

No other program reads them - even MS Notepad!!!

Note that the fields are truncated by approximately half their length, as well. Playlists should export in ASCII by default, with an option of Unicode format.

5(b) The Export filename does not use the Playlist/Smartlist name.

5(c) If you edit the Export filename, then click "M3U", the Export filename edits are lost - in particular, the new drive/path I entered was lost.

6. "Export All Playlists" causes program termination. A few lists are created before it ends.

7. When editing any Search field, such as a Smartlist, if you click at the end of the string... the whole string is highlighted. The cursor -is- placed at the end of the string, but if you start typing the whole string is lost. Previously, clicking at the ends or between parameters positioned an edit cursor without selecting anything.

8. If you're editing a View Scheme Search field in its dialog box and use arrow keys to reposition the cursor, right-clicking a Search Qualifier which was originally "to the right of the CEdit window" frequently causes the wrong item to be edited or removed.

9. In lists of certain sizes, the Scroll Position Indicators do not size properly to the ratio "VisibleItemCount / ListItemCount". IIRC, list size was about 50 in Convert Format but vertical scroll indicator was a ball, even though it moved about 1/5-1/4 of the scroll bar height.

10. Animated GIFs only show the first frame. "ROVER_MOVIE" and "ROVER_MOVIE_SOL4_S0050B" from the 1997 Mars Pathfinder landing shows this problem; I'll send one if you don't see the problem.

11. When viewing images, the center <- / -> arrows show "n/a" but moves you fwd/bwd through list. Once you've pressed one, the space bar will re-activate it, but Enter does not. When you start viewing played images, the "Advance" button is not default, so the space key doesn't work until you press a button.

11b. When viewing images, the left <- / -> arrows have the caption "Image" but do nothing. They don't really appear disabled, as the icons of the arrows are as clear/bright as buttons that are enabled.

11c. If you're looking at an "Internal" view of "Playing Now" and press the Windowed button, the focus does not shift to the new image window - thus, keyboard playback controls appear non-functional.

12. Is this a bug? With a View Scheme, I can make temp modifications to the search scheme in the search bar. I "Edit a View Scheme" to make permanent changes. Smartlists don't work the same way... changes I make in the search bar are optionally applied based on a dialog that appears when leaving the Smartlist. These two M.O.'s are confusing, and I wish that Smartlists worked like View Schemes: temp mods above, "Edit this" for perm mods.

13. Could you please expose "Composer" to IMJFile?

uh... this release has caused many difficulties. All my View Schemes were lost at installation of .098 - I had to re-enter them manually. The iPod plug-in still has issues, so I'd been using XPlay to sync when I *need* the iPod. Now there is no way to succesfully export Smartlists, so I can't use XPlay. Although I imaged my system drive at .088, the APE's I've created since .098 have a new APE header - will they work if I revert, I wonder? I think I'm totally committed to the .98+ path at this point, though.

It would be *GREAT* if y'all could fix the Playlist Export bugs soon. They are a primary connection to many handheld players and seem fundamentally important.

MC9 has MANY nice features over MJ8. Is there any chance we could take a couple weeks to just tighten the nuts and polish the chrome? E.G., the new scrollbars are pretty, but they've brought their own set of issues with them... Unicode has brought its set of issues... I feel this need to get a stable MC9 in my hands again. (Thx for hearing me)

Now, since we post a lot of bug reports here, I'll post a nice one:

I have lots of digital images saved. MC9 is letting me categorize them and make sense out of the mess. I can find images so easily now: "Astronomy", "Pathfinder", "Mars", "1997", "Historic"...

"Travel", "Holland", "Hilversum", "Lapershoek", "Lisse", "Flowers"...

"Original", "Scanned", "Downloaded"... "Processed", "Cropped", "Reduced", "Thumbnail", "100x100"...

"Gems", the most special view/list.

Exposure information(!), when used in conjunction with PIE Studio ( http://www.picmeta.com/ ). PIE lets me put every field associated with a digital-camera image in its filename:

    2000_2000-01-27 (07.12.53)_S60 A4.0 Z124mm Normal F1.jpg

MC9 can parse the filename and path into columns, so the directory hieracrchy I was using made categorizing the images almost automatic. A few hours here and there enjoying the photos and giving them keywords has been a pleasure. Since I can store the info in the JPG file and use Smartlists and View Schemes to look at my files, I can rebuild the cross-referencing at any time simply by importing. And I can report that JPGs I've modified with MC9 field info have remained viewable in all other viewers I use.

If only I could export/import the logical structure of View Schemes and Smartlists into a text format file; *.MJL (L = Logic). The feature seems incomplete without the ability to post my Smartlist structure or exchange it with friends. You see... Smartlists are cool. The don't refer to drives and paths, so their logic can be shared between users in ways traditional Playlists cannot.

Time to enjoy the weekend,

Randy

Suggestions:

1. Since Alt+Enter brings up the selected files' Properties, Alt+Enter could close the Properties view and update the files. Would be VERY nice/fast.

2. I'd like to see Esc dismiss the Properties view when the focus is in it.

Please review THIS THREAD.

Can we please get [Page Up] and [Page Down] shortcut keys in the Track Info (File Properties) window to navigate to the previous and next files (in the playlist)...like MJ 8.0's File Properties supports (for tagging maintenance)?

I'm glad that selection lists for File Properties fields such as "Genre" are now being populated with contents of existing entries, in addition to the selected files.

However, I think the selection lists should be limited by the Search Criteria currently in effect. It's pretty odd to be able to choose "Alternative" and "Blues" for images, or "Processed" and "Cropped" for audio.

BUGS

  • File Properties: 9.0.99 Auto-complete is case sensitive. See MS Excel.
  • Memo Field Text Entry: 9.0.99 Text field is not given focus when the window opens
  • Keywords: 9.0.99 Cannot reproduce "Keywords" behaviour on any other field.
  • Keywords: 9.0.99 Keywords entered as "hello; goodbye" are treated as "hello" and " goodbye". Note the leading space on " goodbye".
  • Keywords: 9.0.99 Clicking on a keywords-only view scheme, does not add the rule "-keywords=[]" (ie: not empty keywords).
  • Keywords: 9.0.99 The rule "-keywords=[]" returns everything in the DB.
  • Keywords: 9.0.99 When using the wizard to search by keywords, none are listed individually and things like "war; freedom; sixties" are shown as an option, as opposed to "war", "freedom" and "sixties".
  • Rename: 9.0.99 When renaming in the tree, any semi-colons are ignored.
  • Rename / Keywords: 9.0.99 Renaming keywords in the tree has no effect.
  • Keyboard: 9.0.99 Occasionally the text entry will freeze. Keyboard shortcuts do not work. eg: F2 for rename.
  • Find: 9.0.99 'Duration=<60' returns nothing.
  • Smartlists: 9.0.99 I have a smartlist with the following in it: "Limit: 120 minutes". When I right click on the playlist and click on play, the list is recalculated and another 2 hours of music is played.
  • Smartlists: 9.0.99 I have a playlist with the following conditions: 'genre="Pop" ~t=120 (rating=4 or rating=5) lastplayed=>10080'. I look at this list and then move to another, MC asks whether I want to save the changes that I've made to the playlist.
  • Sorting: 9.0.99 Sorting on duration field (ie: clicking on the column heading or using '~sort=[Duration]') does a string sort.
  • Playback Filter / Smartlists: 9.0.99 A playback filter that is based on a smartlist is not refreshed after each song.
  • Visualisation Studio: 9.0.94 When editing text elements in the display, only the initial character of what was there before is present. New text is saved properly, but the same happens again when you try to edit it.
  • Visualisation Studio: 9.0.94 None of the custom fields work in the display.
  • Visualisation Studio: 9.0.94 The "YEAR" keyword does not work as expected.
  • Visualisation Studio: 9.0.95 After creating a customised visualisation, and changing views, any attempt to return to playing now results in a crash with the following info: "AppName: media jukebox.exe AppVer: 9.0.94.0 ModName: vis studio.dll ModVer: 0.0.0.0 Offset: 0000286d". This also happens when pressing play. update - 9.0.99 Media Center quits without error notice.
  • Visualisation Studio: 9.0.99 It is impossible to change the visualisation if MC is not playing anything. Given the bug above, the only result is to uninstall the Vis Studio.
  • Top Hits / Recently Played: 9.0.99 Properties for "Top Hits" and "Recently Played" are no longer there.
  • Auto Album Analyser: 9.0.99 I have two copies of track 2 from a CD. I don't have any other tracks from the CD and yet it appears under "Single Artist (incomplete)".
  • Auto Album Analyser: 9.0.99 Albums that have many artists, but are split into multiple directories, are listed under "Single Artist (incomplete)".
  • Auto Album Analyser: 9.0.99 Single tracks are listed under "Single artist (incomplete)". Consider having a "Single Tracks" entry?
  • Audio Analyser: 9.0.99 Has "Media Jukebox" in dialog.
  • Audio Analyser: 9.0.99 Won't allow "Enter" to be pressed while editing fields. Can't type in search bar either.
  • Audio Analyser: 9.0.99 Files which had previously been put through MP3Gain and which subsequently had replay gain levels of approx -5dB, are now being reanalysed to get values of approx -12dB. Most other files are remaining approximately the same with changes of up to 1 or 2dB at the most.
  • Audio Analyser: 9.0.99 All files that are being analysed are being given a Peak level of 100%.
  • Audio Analyser: 9.0.99 I have two copies of the song "A Little Respect" by the original artist Erasure and the cover by Wheatus. Both sound similar. However, the Erasure track has an intensity of 1 and the Wheatus track has an intensity of 5. Both should be sitting on an intensity of about 3 or 4.
  • Audio Analyser / Replay Gain / DSP Studio: 9.0.99 When analysing songs, open the DSP studio, with replay gain enabled. Play a track and wait for the analyser to finish a song. Notice as the replay gain for the current track jumps to +100dB. No noticeable volume change, though. Also, when "Automatic based on current playlist" is selected, this changes to 100dB too. The net result is 200dB increase...The increase is not implemented!
  • Audio Analyser / Library Change: 9.0.99 Changing the current library while analysing audio causes MC to crash.
  • Playback: 9.0.99 Playing a mono mp3 file the most appalling buzz eminates from Media Centre.
  • Library: 9.0.94 When switching libraries, the target quick drop retains its setting from the previusly loaded library.
  • System Info: 9.0.99 Software reported as being "Media Jukebox PLUS"
  • Program Installation: 9.0.99 Software fails to remember previous settings when performing custom installation.
  • Dates / Times: 9.0.99 Inconsistently reported: Date created: "dd/mm/yyyy hh:mm:ss"; Date Modified: seconds since UNIX epoch; Duration: Seconds; Date Imported & Last Played: "xx days, yy hours ago".
  • Ripping: 9.0.99 Custom / extended fields are not copied from the CD information to the ripped files.
  • Keyboard Navigation: 9.0.99 Tab eventually ends up as a cycle between the tree on the left and the search bar.

REQUESTED FEATURES

  • Tree View / File Properties: 9.0.99 I miss seeing properties for all files when clicking on a playlist etc. Now I have to click and press two buttons (ctrl-A) to see this. :( Not the end of the world, but still.
  • Playlist Properties: This could allow for comments, dates, and other properties to be assigned to playlists.
  • Keywords: Allow a custom delimeter for each field. I have a number of fields that are ready for this, but have been implemented with commas and not semi-colons as required by Keywords.
  • Audio Properties: Show info regarding mono, stereo.
  • Custom Fields: Allow fields to be specific to media type (or simply to be hidden when not required). Eg: Audio files have no height and width properties and so the audio group should not be visible when clicking on an image file. These can be customised in the options group. Perhaps make the groups customisable in this respect.
  • Custom Fields: Separate options dialog, please!
  • Custom Field Groups: I would like to have more field groups to extend the existing "General", "Extended", "File Info", "Audio" and "Display". Eg: Publishing Info, Classical Info, Recording Info (I do a number of private recordings and so this would make the DB appear a lot less cluttered). etc.
  • Views: Allow different columns / thumbnails to be displayed. Should be allowed to be customised. Also allow a "thumb tile" to be displayed, HTML style.
  • File Properties: Allow a custom order of fields. eg: name, artist and album to appear first, and not just rely on alphabetical ordering.
  • Party Mode: I would like party mode to be ABSOLUTELY dummy proof. You should run experiments with people who don't know what a computer is and are drunk as lords. a challenge! See if you end up with the same playlist five minutes from when you walk away!
  • Actions for Enter: Is it not possible to customise the action of enter (like Double click and "play") so that it doesn't have a "I'm going to kill your playlist for you"-type action.
  • Options: Centralised options? PLEASE? I would like to be able to do everything from one place. I don't like having to press play so that I can right-click on the visualisation and see the options to customise it there. Options for ripping, etc are all over the place. Keep their current "activation buttons" but have one central dialog that pop up and displays the right options. Consider placing "short cuts" for relevant options at the top of the "outlook bar" that you have to make the different options apparent to the user - highlight them somehow - depending on what you were doing when you wanted to see the options.
  • Intensity Levels: Almost all of my classical music fits into Intensity 1 or at a push at intensity 2. Is it not possible to add a few more intensity levels "below" 1? Perhaps shift everything up by 5 to make the range 1 through 10. Or add decimal points?

Bug:
1. When you use Move/Copy Disk files to move files to another location and then you click 'Yes' to the popup that says "Would you like to remove any empty folders that this action has produced?", the MC My Computer directory listing is NOT updated to remove the folder(s) that clicking "Yes" removed...you have to press F5 (Refresh) to cause a manual update.

Request:
1. Can you please, please, please add a new File Info (Track Info > File Properties) read-only field called "Tags" or "Tag Types" and summarize/list the tag types like Id3V1 and/or Id3V2 (or whatever is appropriate for the media selected)?  This would be quite helpful and eliminate having to navigate to the Format window and clicking on each file individually to know whether you have v1, v2 or both types of tags on your MP3s.  Thanks for 'listening'...

I'm not sure if this has come up, but when playing movies and resorting the 'Playing Now' list, the window will lock up for a little bit and the movie will no longer be the full size.
