Does anyone know how to have the Action Window be minimized by default. I prefer to use the lower toolbar with customized button selection so that I've got the extra real estate in the left hand pane.

It isn't possible. We found in user testing that it was confusing to new users.

I'm certainly not an expert, but I've been using MJ/MC since v5 & I've found that I'd rather not have it there. If you ever decide to make this an option (minimizing by default or even choosing not to have it at all) I'd be thankful.

I sure would like this option also, so I can see more of my tree. It's a poor use of user testing to make something impossible! It's fine to decide to make maximized the default on install, so as not to confuse the newbies; not fine to remove the option of having it minimized.

Of course, you also took away the option of having the tree open at the particular spots I used all the time, so one bad kind of cancels out the other....
