Easy way to extract coverart from tags and save as files?
« on: January 29, 2010, 08:45:51 am »

I have some MP3s that have the coverart in the file as a tag and I would like to extract and place in a file in the directory.  Is there a simple way to do this systematically?

I believe it's a two step process.

Right click on a file, choose Cover Art/Save to External Location

Then remove the art from the file.

Try a few before you do very many.

Thanks.  I should have used the word "automatically" vs. "systematically"!  I would like to do this on a bunch of files - and I don't know which of these have coverart in the tag without checking them.  Is there a way to do this through a batch process?  Thanks.

Try a few first, but then select all and do each step.  It should work.
