IPOD nano not showing up in MC16?

My IPOD Nano works fine in MC15, but only shows up in the "explorer" section of MC16, and therefore I can't send playlists to it...did anything change?

Have you tried redetecting all devices under the handheld options?

I have the same problem. The error I get is

Your iPod could not be properly identified.
Please check for an updated version of Media Center.
iPod type: ", ", 0, 0

This is my girlfriend's old nano 3G she wants to use for running. Any ideas?

There have been no changes to iPod support between v15 and v16.

I just tried a 4th generation Nano with the latest Media Center and it worked as expected.

Hunh. Is there a debug log or something I could post for you? I haven't reset the iPod yet, so I could try that, but manually manage music and disk use are both enabled.

EDIT: yep, I'm on the newest version of MC.
Another EDIT: this is actually a 2G iPod upon further review. Foobar can see it and browse it...

I am pretty sure no touch devices are supported.
