Video Problem

All of a sudden, haven't changed MC versions (.73) nor any hardware, but video cannot be seeked through via progress bar/sider.

As soon as I move the slider, the image freezes then stutters very badly until I stop playback.

I am using RO Standard (but with custom settings for different audio output).

Any thoughts or suggestions?  Need more info?

Weird
Have you restarted recently? Have you noticed any other strange behavior be it in MC or elsewhere. I recently went through something similar which turned out to be a flaky stick of RAM.

Thanks for chiming in Scolex.

Nothing else is acting strangely that I have noticed.

I reboot daily.

It appears using the arrows on my keyboard which jumps up 30 seconds works fine.

It is only when I use the progress bar that the problem arises.

I am going to rollback to 16 (I stupidly already uninstalled it) to see if anything changes.  Everything played, and seeked, fine prior to 17.  In fact I am having all kinds of strange things since upgrading to 17.

Is it a specific type of video?  Or all video?
