I do not have all,but almost. The problem is i moved home in january and i have not yet put all my records in order.Mind you not a small job!The fact to use a cane since few weeks do not help.Unlike the records, the cane is not a permanent artefact. There is an other canadian band i like very much:Courage of Lassie[?].Raining here just now.So next record will be any of the sumptuous records from Townes Van Zandt

By the way there is a not so hard way to get blocked songs on Audiogalaxie. Will give you the
http for it
Just now Flyin'Shoes  Townes Van Zandt. The kind of song you fill a 90 minute tape with only this song on it

Yes,Courage of Lassie. On one of the cd there is a song in french
I was at the Dead See for few weeks, was the program. But it was only for 2 days!!100% my fault.i got a big rack of bricks on my rigth leg.Beside the most spectacular results-some "sewing" on the foot and front leg- my knee is in very bad condition.Need time and massages to cure.It is so painfull when i lay in bed that i spend many many sleepless nights.I am just exhaust.Anyway i still have enougth stenght to spend a full night at a punk festival,so things are not so bad.......
I will not say that Townes Van Zandt is country or alt country. In fact more folk.It is superb.I saw him in London,i had tears such the emotion was great
I like very much 16 horsepower,but i will call it alt-Gun Club
Ass pony was my listening on one post not long ago. Before alt-country was No Depression. The start the first Uncle Tupelo record of the same name and the magazine. There is the first 3 Uncle Tupelo, the First Son Volt, the 2 first Wilco and Wiskeytown, after this, many steeps below, there is alt-country

listening to the Jayhawks- Hollywood Town Hall

> Townes Van Zandt

I saw Townes on stage (well, OK, about 6 inches higher than the rest of the place) in a little club called Bunky's in Madison around 1979 or 1980.  He got really hammered on stage.  Dropped his guitar and broke most of the strings.  The 30 or so people in the place were chuckling, and he said "Aw, you f---ing yankees", picked up his guitar, pronounced "No wood broken!", and then added, "Aw hell, free beer for everybody!"  Needless to say, the barkeep didn't quite agree, but everybody did end up with one free one.  Townes kept on playing (pretty much better than he could stand), and soon everybody was dancing, across the floor and right onto the "stage" with the musicians.  It was a great night that I'll never forget.

I passed on a chance to see Pat Benatar for 5 bucks at Bunky's.  She had just released her first album.  She's not my favorite rocker, but I still kick myself for passing on a chance to see her in a small club just beofre she made it big.

i would like to have seen mott the hoople in '74, had to settle for hunter&ronson in 75. saw genesis-The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway tour in '74 instead.

let's see, in '76 is was be bop deluxe opening for blue oyster cult.

and 77-80: foreigner, kiss, Boc again, and then Boc again, oh and supertramp, styx, kansas . . .

but, you know, come to think of it--i really don't miss any of that music

16 horsepower - haw

jayhawks: quite talented bunch, but I can't listen to them at home--whenever Gary Louris and Mark Olson start harmonizing, my dogs begin to howl like the dickens. same thing happens if I play the Everly Brothers, Victoria Williams or the Original Harmony Ridge Creek Dippers

I saw Townes Van Zandt much latter, when i was living in London in 92/3/4.I do not remenber .He was much less "punk" at this time, just ripe as a good wine.Anyway, someone who just deliberately fall  backward from a third -storey balcony just to see "how it is" NOT UNDER ACID cannot be that a bad a  person
I had Patty Smith playing a song for me in "her office" in New York.I was here to buy  her first auto produced 7"'hey joe.I saw Pere Ubu in they club in Cleveland, and spend few days with them.Making every nigth the higthway contest.Drunk and stoned ,few Wolfwagen cocinelles trying to do the most straigth line from the higway entrance to the left line.
I saw Ramones,Richard Hell at the CBGB.I saw Hearbreakers in a small club in New-York.Mike Deville at the Max"s.I had be "lost and not found "in Boston with Real Kinds and Willy Loco Alexender for few days. Many years before i found a way to be part of the Dead MEGADOPEMONSTER
circus for 2 weeks. And one day, near Bordeaux-where i was born-i woke up in a house i do not remenber to have been during the evening and have a "kind of breakfirst" with Clapton
Now ,50 years old, here in the place  where any american punk music sounds as a song for children against our every day life. Now i am really happy to had all this things in my life
I do not have any regrets to had be -most of the times-in front of the stage ,not on the stage
And i am very happy,i will say much more happy to have "come back" from each lsd trip

I would be in love with your dog if he was howling only with Jawhawks.Means he does not like
Gary Louris, means he does not like pop, means your dog have good tastes
But ,if it is the same with E.B.,W.W. and, first of all  O.H.R.G.D.,here he has a big problem
alt-Gun-Club:you can download from Emusic many Gun-Club album.Listen to it,listen to 16 horsepower,and you will understand the "alt-Gun -Club"I really like 16 h..

listening to the first Gun Club-a masterpiece on non protected lp

Gun club on Emusic, you have only 4 lps on Emusic. They are not bad,but the first one and the second one "Miami' are much better. You have to download Jeffry Lee Pierce as well.He was the leader of Gun Club. This record is just...great.Lee Pierce was a fat blondinet ,not stupid but a junkie=was.I meet him many times during his many french tours
Do not forget ,i am not american,so "chitling and souse" do not ring a bell for me

listening to THe god father -live  2 lps at very lound volume at 3 o'clock in the morning
I did spend money on phonic isolation

recipe for souse (aka hog's head-cheese), the less discusting half of the dish:

1 lb. diced red peppers
1 lb. diced sweet pickles
5 ozs. gelatin, dissolved in 5 lbs. warm water
3 ozs white vinegar
5 ozs. salt
1 tbsp. ozs. ground white pepper
1 tbsp. ground mustard
2 tbsp. ground sage
2 tbsp. ground cloves
1 tbsp. onion powder
5 lbs pork tongues
4 lbs. pork snouts
1 lbs. pork skins

Cure meat 3-5 days in a brine made with the following:
21/2 gallon water
21/2 lbs. salt
12 ozs. cane sugar
4 ozs. Prague Powder No. 1
After curing, place all meat loosely in steam kettle.
Place the pork
skins in cooking net; then cover product
with water and raise to boiling temperature. Cook for
approximately
11/2-2 hours. After cooking, remove from kettle and let
cool. Grind
pork skins through 1/8 inch grinder plate. Grind the
remaining meat
through a 11/2 inch plate. After grinding, add other
ingredients and
sufficient amount of cooking stock to arrive at a
finished yield of
110-115%.

After the product is thoroughly mixed, stuff into
suitably-sized mold and
chill for 12 hours at 34-36 degrees F. Place molds in ice
water for
approximately two hours to assist in rapid chilling.
After chilling,
remove from molds and place on rack, properly spaced, in
a 8-40 degrees F
cooler. Chill at this temperature overnight.

There is an animal like a goat,a gazelle is name is Dahut
This animal has both legs from the same side shorter than legs from the other side.It is very conviennent for run on the mountain.BUT ONLY ON ONE WAY.So it very easy to hunt
It is not as good than armadillos pancake ,but close
Armadillos are not expensive, but renting the truck to make them pancakes is

-Tom,9 years old,got is first acoustic guitar
-Let me play 3 times the same line,in case you do not get it
-No dairy cream

And you do not get rock, but a kind of middle of the road pop song
So,you have to call it'Abba-prog" NOT rock-prog

This is not true for the 3th Van Der Graaf Generator-Most of King-Krimson-maybe the 2 first Yes.I do not know Genesis for have an opinion

listening to.........GENESIS -Trespass-the only Genesis i have
