I have just upgraded to windows 10 and now JRiver does not remember its last tab state, if i search for a artist say Pink Floyd then keep that in a tab then search say YES and so on, so i now have lots of different artists in tabs, when i close JRiver and then reopen the tabs go back to all artists then i have to search again, with windows 7 everything was remembered. Ive been using this program for a long time now so know my way around and have made sure the correct options have been checked like start in last location... please help!

Things i tried

Googled problem for 3 weeks
clean install win 10
JRiver 21
started with clean library
restored library settings from win 7 JRiver
installed JRiver 20 on my wife's PC same problem

Please try setting MC to start in "Last Location".  It's under settings for Startup.

If you updated from MC19 or MC20, you can backup in that version, then restore in MC21 and choose to restore your settings.

Thank-you but that is the first thing i tried..

When i restore my settings from my windows 7 install i get all the tabs back, but when i close MC and reopen the tabs drop back to all artists, does anyone know where the settings files will be on my win 10 pc or are they in the registry, just thinking it may be a write access problem..

when i extract my backup i have setting files, does anyone know where they imported to and how they work..

After asking my friend to try MC on his win 10 machine he had the same problem so that's three different win 10 PC's, i went back to win 7 all working now...
