It's likely that WMP9 is the problem.  We don't have the SDK from Microsoft yet.  Should be a few weeks.  But it will show up in Media Center (v9) first.

I'm not sure you can uninstall the released (non-beta) version of WMP9. You didn't say what OS you were running so...if XP then try to install WMP from the XP disk...in all other cases find WMP v7.1 on the web (you won't find it at the MS site, though) and see if you can install over v9.

SDK = Software Developers Kit

Basically, it is instructions from Microsoft that tells other programmers how the WMP software and formats work.  Since Microsoft just released the SDK a week or two ago, the programmers here haven't had a chance to implement the instructions to make Media Jukebox work when WMP9 is installed.

They released the WMP9 program a few weeks ago, but they have not released the SDK.  They had not "finalized" their contract, according to e-mail we received from them about 10 days ago.

We just received the final part of the contract this week and sent it back.  With any luck, we'll get the SDK this year sometime.

Microsoft has a monopoly and uses it to their advantage.

If you do a search of the forum here, you will find quite a few threads explaining why MJ/MC doesn't work with WMP9 yet.
