1. Add the ability to set star ratings. Already-set ratings appear in the desktop interface but cannot be edited, as far as I can tell.
2. Add an option to full-screen panel by default. As it is, it goes back to windowed mode every time I switch to another app on mobile, and is similarly finicky on other platforms.
3. Include an option to prevent screen time-out (possibly also allowing for a fade). Would be useful for mobile devices.
4. Gapless play-back.

1. Panel already has this option. There can be a slight delay in the response, but all you need to do is click on the desired rating level.
2. It probably wouldn't be that difficult to add the ability to store the full screen state.
3. Not sure.
4. It wouldn't be easy. Gapless playback with a web browser is unreliable because of the lag in the event system.

Are you using authentication on the server?  It's required for anything that syncs back to the server.

This is number one on my personal Panel wishlist, but I figured it was pretty difficult to do.

Ah! You're right.

In that case, I have a recommendation: Put an editable star rating under the cover art in Playing Now if it's impossible to make them appear per file in portrait mode. To highlight a use case, I tend to listen to and rate songs on my bicycle while my phone sits in a phone mount, during which initiating screen rotation is not feasible.
