darn...I was using my nose to try to push the buttons. Now that I found out what these fingers are for, things should be a little easier!
Suggestion for the touchscreen/jukebox interface;
Hairstyle is very close, but the controls don't really allow someone to just walk up to the screen and tap on the images they wish to play. The arrows, enter etc. add a few extra steps that I was trying to avoid.
pcjukebox (and party gui which is a front end for CDJ on the slinke) simply show thumbnails of all album covers. You can list by album or by artist. Both also have an alphabet on the side so you can jump directly to different sections.
When the album is touched (with a nose or a finger!) It either starts to play, or is added to a playlist. It is really pretty simple.
My goal is to have something very common sense oriented so that customers at my 16,000 square foot model home can just "touch the pictures."
Sometimes, these million dollar plus home buyers just don't get it....
thanks for making such a great product.
