« on: January 23, 2019, 04:35:06 pm »

Hello.

When will JRiver finally integrate Qobuz? Even Roon did it!

Probably never.  Sorry.

You could read this to understand why.

These questions come up time and time again; can't we have a Sticky FAQ for how MC does (or doesn't) integrate with other steaming services and why that's the case?

Hello there,
I was referring a couple weeks ago to Roon new Qobuz integration and my regrets to have to quit JRiver as a possible consequence. I took advantage of the free trial offered by Qobuz to test Roon. My ears were immediately telling me to stay with JRiver without even mentioning imo the poorer ergonomic functions of Roon. In the meantime the truth is that the guys at Qobuz seem to have quietly improved their streaming proposal. All this mixed with the recent firmware update which has considerably enhanced the sq of my Devialet 1000.
Hence I stay with you for my library and use the impeccable streaming and downloading services of Qobuz on a separate basis.

except south of the equator !!

I solved the Roon JRiver dilemma, i use both.

the configurability of MC suits classical libraries far better

they are very different products, they play music !
