TV Recording
« on: April 22, 2003, 10:16:06 pm »

I noticed that:

- When recording with the JRiver Codec when the full screen is on my second display (my TV), it records only sound and no picture. If I don't run in full screen, it works fine

- All recorded video shows are unable to show their properties (format is not recognised). The Tempcapture file is correct though, it says properly that it is a MS-MPEG4 V3 or XVID (depends what codec I use) (in windows explorer). It looks like the saved file is not closed correctly (it's also a little bit smaller than the temp file)

- CTRL-SHIFT-R does not wotk with girder, only from the keyboard

- It is not possible to navigate to your recorded shows via hairstyle until you import them first.

Is it possible to program Girder to hold down CNTRL and SHIFT while pressing and releasing R?

Yes you can, but unfortunatly it doesn't work.

I tried with other applications and it has the same behavior, so it is a girder problem.

I will contact girder for that problem

Thanks,

Benny

Any status on the other issues ?

What video card/TV device do you have? How are they setup (like extended desktop, or clone, or ATI theater mode)?

I know this and have not figured out why.

I'm using a WINTV Primo FM PCI Hauppage card and a ATI RADEON 9600 TX video card.

My primary display is setup as 1280x1024 on my flat screen monitor and my seconday display (as extended desktop) as 1024x768 on my TV.

If I use XVID or MPEG4 it works fine, with the JRiver codec it doesn't.

A few builds ago it worked fine.
