jriver 30.091 latest

Windows 10 Pro
Asrock z690 rs pro
corsair vengance 3200mhz 16 gb
alder lake i5 12600kf
Msi rtx 3050 8 gb

When I do benchmark in jriver now, I get a lower score about 300 - 400 points lower. And I found out that it was the image benchmark part of the benchmark that was about 800 - 900 points lower.

I have previously seen that the benchmark can produce lower score on some jriver verisions,, but not this big.

I have only used stabil builds.

I update my nvidia driver whenever there are a new one and it has always been ok. it takes just a short time to settle then it is stable..I now also tried the studio driver which should be more stable..but no change.

I aslo simontaniously updated my bios (it said improved cpu performance on bios info. this is the first time of all the builds that it is said to improve cpu performance and there have been many bios updats).

When I play movies I dont see any changes so it is good.

I dont know how important image part of the benchmarks score is...but does anybody know what makes the score suddenly lowered by 800/900 points?

It could be something running in the background.  Try doing a few.

Yes! I have done it many times. It varies between 8040 - 8350. and image benchmark is always around 9500. I used to get 8500 - 8600 and image benchmark was always around 10250 - 10400.

my ram was at 2100 mhz. I used xmp profile 3200 mzh. Now it is fine. Bios update nulled out the settting.

So now I know that higher ram mhz is important or increase for the image benchmark part of the jriver benchmark :-)
