Stupid question probably, but i am curious. I always see discounts for renewing users and I get that.
But for first time purchasers, like say I want to try MC for a couple months, not just 30 days without committing to a full purchase, is there a way to do that? I know it sounds dangerously like a subscription, i know i get that (boooooo) but i am genuinely curious.

Also, i need to retest jriver with android phone syncing to a memory card again. Last time, it could never complete a sync. I had to fall back to my old option.

pardon my question but how long does the license for 30 run for.

Ive had mine for 8 months I think is there a discount for 31?

You can use MC30 indefinitely. You can upgrade if you wish. Instructions are in the first post of this thread.

I am updating to 31 from 27. I have downloaded and tried to install many times but it keeps locking up during install. I am a longtime user and not had this problem. I don't know what to do.

Try waiting a few hours. Copying a big library could take a long time.

Sorry for the trouble. I upgraded to MC31 - I think? Normally you send a receipt back to my registered email address - which I normally keep, but I can't find this one from ~ one month ago.. can you resend. Has the normal process changed?

I would like to support your wonderfull project and I bought several updates in the past.
However, I still have some problems with Cover Art for a few tracks, where I am unable to find cover art for? I find this very annoying.
I admit that I am not very handy in finding my way in the many possibilities and unable to find the solution.
So I do hesitate to buy further updates.

Hello,
I'm using MC 31 Windows and I've used (upgraded) every year/version since version 19.

On your "purchase" page is stated: "If you previously purchased MC for Mac or Windows, and it is installed and licensed, you will see a reduced price when you purchase a Master License."

But when I try to upgrade to Master License from MC Help menu it ask for full price ($89.98)...

What should be the upgrade price? Can you please help?

Dear Team JRiver.
I am a Pensioner and as such do not have the funds to constantly purchase for the simple audio functions that I expected from JRiver. Audio mixing has consistently failed from V19.00 to date.
Plus. Whilst I respect the power of your platform, I am also constantly reminded to pay and up-grade.
Can I please ask the team as they know. This also might Boost JR. As a Pensioner Aged 64 - would be nice for J River to assist all of my age that past and could contribute further?

You could start a thread and describe the problem. Maybe your audio device is set to Exclusive Mode.

I have Media Master license and Media Center 30 30.0.96 installed in my PC. I downloaded and installed Media Center 31 and got message that my Registration Code is invalid. Yet message on the forum says: "This MC31 license will also work with MC30.0.91 or above". Mine is MC30.0.96. What is the problem?

An MC31 license will work with the last build of MC30.

But an MC30 license won't work with MC31.

You have an MC30 Master License. You can upgrade if you wish.

You send me a discount for an upgrade to MC31 by email, but when i follow the link for upgrade, it ask me a registration code and when i put it (my MC30 registration code), the next page for pay ask me "Media Center 31 Windows

How can i have a discount you offer me ?

What page are you talking about? At no point do I see the possibility of entering the discount code you sent me ?? At the moment I'm trying to follow the link you sent me by email to obtain an upgrade, but I come across a page that asks me for my registration code, and then once I've done that, sends me to the payment page at the price of $27.98. At no point is there any possibility of entering the discount code you sent me by the same email???

I have my MC31 registration key, but whenever I try to open my MediaCenter 31 Windows installer, I'm told I'm trying to restore a MC license with the wrong version. I tried going to the restore page and entering the key I received when I purchased MC31, but that didn't work, either.

You may be running MC30 or prior, and not the MC31 install package. Download from JRiver again and run it. Then restore your MC31 license.

When I click the link, I key in my old license code and then get to a page where I have to key in my address and create a login, which I can’t use to avoid having to key in everything next time again.

So with every new JRiver upgrade I key in my data and create a new login (or the same as last time) which I can never use again.

Ctrl-C and Ctrl-V work to copy and paste.

You just enter a password (any password) so you can retrieve your license in the future.

Thanks, the copy/paste part was clear, but what exactly should I do next time I get the upgrade mail?

When I click on “windows license” the way is as described above and no way on the whole JRiver site (except the forum) an option to use a login to avoid a new complete fill out…
