JRiver Media Center 30 v96 has stopped functioning
tbng:
I don't want JRiver to output two-channel as multi-channel. That is the Trinnov's job. I want the channels in the recording to be output without alteration.
Matt:
Well 5 channel isn't normally supported. If you only want some content to use JRSS, you could try Zone Switch.
tbng:
Many classical recordings long ago gave up using the .1 sub-woofer channel. As I stated previously, I have used zone switch for some years, and those 5.0 files have been playing on JRiver via the Trinnov until just recently. What has changed? Is there a setting I'm missing?
Matt:
Well do they play as 5.1? If so, that's the issue. Why the change I don't know.
tbng:
I don't use a sub-woofer. I don't need one. The .1 channel is stil in the source, but the Trinnov knows to send the low bass to the front speakers.
