You can retrieve your license here:  https://rover.jriver.com/cgi-bin/restore.cgi

Any library and data from a previous version will be found and used by the new version.  If necessary, you can restore a backup:  https://wiki.jriver.com/index.php/Library_Backup

Keep your prior version installed until you're happy with the new version.  Then uninstall the old one.

Sorry, I've been unable to find a clear-to-me answer to this in prior threads.
I've updated to each new version, it's been super easy, everything transfers, perfectly. But after recent updates, I've found that the changes are not of major (obvious) significance to me -- my use is audio only, nothing particularly elaborate, my whole house listening with DLNA works great. Current ver. 32 meets my needs, it's great.
If I decide to forego MC updates, and then update down the road a few versions based on the nature of improvements, will the update from a few versions back be seamless -- no loss of playlists, abundant tags, ratings, zones, settings, library locations, etc.?

It did complete.  The email address you used is your Paypal address.  Your forum address is similar but has a "ch" in the middle of it.  Try the Paypal address.  You can email yourself your licenses from our Restore Page.

Attempting to upgrade to MC33 from present MC28 (pc Windows10 x64).
Problem: 
Computer with MC28 does NOT have email ... strictly allocated to stereo system.
I requested licenses from JRiver; Received:  MC19, 21, 23, 24, 27, 29  {MC28 not shown, ?}. 
MC28 is working fine.

Please provide steps to upgrade from existing MC28 to MC33 on subject computer;
This message is being sent from other computer which we can use to port info to the MC28 machine.

Purchase the upgrade on any machine connected to the Internet.

Thank you for another successful release. I can't believe I have had every version since version 10. That's a long time!

I have a question on the install which has always been this way. If a previous version of MC is already installed, can't the install read the file associations and use the same ones instead of having the original defaults? I always have to remember to do a custom install and uncheck certain file associations. Thanks!

I downloaded the latest MC33 version, but the WMA files do not work what should I do to fix this problem, because with the MC32 version everything works fine.
