When I try to install my Mc9 license from the .mrj file, MC becomes unresponsive and consumes 100% CPU until I kill it.

Make sure The Restore\License File Is Not Older Then 14 Days, If It Is Go To The Restore Page.

Why is it that the "MJ.Reg9" I have saved won't let me load same as the question previously asked, but the "restore" file I just saved is the exact same name/size and it worked?

Please inform me. My 7.2 license worked great, I made three (3) backups on Floppy, 1 with My Documents folders on CD-R, & 1 on my hard drives and NEVER had no problems until now with this new license type.

But, why? & How many "FREE" Restores do you get? 9 right? Why? Also, what does it cost after those "FREE Restores" are gone?

you get 10 restores PER YEAR, not a fixed number.
If you need more than 10 per year (such as running several PCs off of a single license) you can always purchase additional licenses.
