Do you mean Visualisations?  If so I assume that by 'permanently' you mean full screen?

Right click on the toolbar (right click on Help will work) and customise toolbar.  You'll find a toolbar button in there that you can add called full screen view.  Otherwise double click the visualisations window when you see it above the playing now list.  Alternatively press F11 to toggle the current mode.

What's happening is when I play a song now the screen goes full with visual, what I want is for it to be only on the top like I use to have it.

Thanks, Skylar

Not sure what you're doing but have a feeling that one of these settings might help:

Tools> Options> General> Jump On Play

or

Player> Display Options> Configure Theatre View

Neither of these work.  I'm running 9.317 and on your first suggestion, there needs to be one more selection after Jump on Play, which one.

On your second suggestion, there is no option for 'theatre view'

J's running v10 which would explain why you have "no option for theatre view". It was called HairStyle in 9.1. Look for something similar (or upgrade to v10).

The view you want is called Full Screen.

You can also click on Playing Now.

I think what you want is 'windowed view'.  Right-click on the playing now window and select windowed view.    It brings up your visualization in a window that is always on top, and is sizeable.

Does that help?
