Every time I open Juke box it just shuts down and coses automatically after about 30 seconds.  Does anyone have a solution to this problem?  please help.

I've heard that a "cracked" version if ever installed will show symptoms like this on installs of legit versions.

Best thing to do in a case like this is to backup license/library...uninstall MJ...reboot...reinstall latest MJ...restore license/library. A corrupt library may cause this, too. If that's the case then don't backup/restore library.

Hi,

It could also be a playing now playlist problem if you set up MJ to play automaticaly at startup. I've had this kind of symptoms before.
Solution is simple :
Navigate to your library directory with win explorer (default is C:\Program Files\JRiver\MediaJukebox\Data)
then just delete the file "curplaylist.jmd' (beware don't touch the other jmd files )
Try launch MJ again and report.

also make sure your using the latest version.

if you have slideshow installed for MJ8 turn that off to see if that helps.

Some Versions Of MJ8 and Slideshow would make MJ8 vanish.
