Disable image display?
« on: September 15, 2004, 01:04:38 pm »

When you double-click on a file the image display window always comes up and just displays the first image available and not related to the song at all.  Is there a way to turn off this function?

I am having trouble configuring the Media Center Display window.  It always fills the whole screen.

If you start in the audio section of the tree, it shouldn't do that.

It should only happen when you're viewing a mix of images and audio.

For a smaller window, try the windowed view.  It's under "view" on the menu bar.

I happens when I am in Playlist view in the tree.  Playlists when selected in the tree seems to show all the files on my computer too.  I guess I should browse in Audio tree view as you're right, threre is no image display triggered there.  Thanks.

However, switching the image display to windowed view always comes back to full screen view if you close it.  I can't find a way to default the display screen to windowed view.  What is the purpose of the display window?  I only have a handfull of pohotos that would match up to any song and with 10,000+ songs it doesn't make much sense to use.

Try exploring some of the options under tools/options/playback.

No options really change the default window display size.

Is the display just supposed to be a slide show of all images in general found on my scanned disk folders?  I thought it was supposed to display an album cover image of the song playing.  I am confused by it's purpose.
