Autostart
« on: September 20, 2004, 08:41:31 am »

Want to reset the Autostart settings for my CD burner without fiddling around in the registry settings myself. Is there an easy way to do this?

Thx for your help.

Cheers,
Daniel

Did you try a google search?  It's different for each OS.

No I did not try a Google search. I posted this question in here as since I use Media Jukebox 8.0 my computer does not autodetect a dvd anymore when I place one in the drive.

By the way my OS is Windows XP Home.

Your help is very much appreciated.

Cheers,
Daniel

Hive: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
Key: System\CurrentControlSet\Services\CDRom
Name: Autorun
Data Type: REG_DWORD(Hex)
Value: 0

Thanks Jim, found the tip - the trouble I have now is, what means Hive? and where do I input all this information?
