I recently upgraded from v10 to v11.  When I enter Theater View, and try to enter one of my Top Level choices from "Home" (such as audio, video, etc) instead of "entering" the scheme, it plays the first file that would be listed.  On the Playlists "scheme" it actually plays the file and enters the scheme.  On the rest though, it just seems to play (not enter), which makes Theater View useless.

I know I just have something dumb turned on (at least I hope so), and I tried searching on this forum for the answer, but I couldn't come up with any search terms that worked well.  ?

Anyone else see this problem?

Try the skin called Hairstyle.

I am using the Hairstyle skin (and always was).  In fact, after you mentioned it, I tried switching to one of the other skins (figured I could try switching and switching back), and it said:

Media Center could not load the desired skin.  It has loaded "Hairstyle" instead.

This did not resolve the issue.

Ahh, see.  I figured it out, but this is certainly an annoying default for upgraded libraries.

I just had "Show in Theater View" unchecked for each and every one of my View Schemes.  Why is that the default?  Now I have to go through an manually enable them all.  Erg ...

True, true.  

However, I did not set each of the View Schemes to this setting, apparently this is the default that MC chose when upgrading my v10 library to v11.  It doesn't matter much to me, since I figured it out, but I imagine that most users would not investigate that deeply, and would simply uninstall the upgrade.

I upgraded directly from 10.0.161 to 11.0.93.  I elected to uninstall v10 (and removed the registry entries), but did not (of course) remove my library files.

I'm not at that machine right now (I'm on a Mac), but if anyone would be interested in the details of that computer I'd be happy to post the details this evening ...
