Multiple logins on a win 2000 computer
« on: October 04, 2002, 01:37:27 pm »

I have just started letting other people use my computer. When I have them login on their own logins it asks me to reinstall media jukebox. I do that and the screen window is unreadable when I try to run media jukebox. I believe it is going through a cofiguration setup. How do I correctly install to mutiple logins?

You may be installing just the update version.  You need to install the full 9MB version.

I am installing 8.0.382 full install. I need to run the install as an administrator or it errors on the media player part of the installation.

I cheated - AFAIK, it's not supported by J River but what I did is export the registry subtree starting at [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\JRiver] key after installing as an Administrator.

Then logged in as each user, imported the exported reg file.

J River, in order to get "Windows Logo" support, should be populating the HKEY_Users\.Default\Software\JRiver tree and copying from there if [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\JRiver] doesn't exist.
