I just upgraded to 11.1...

Now it seems that when I "Customize Current View" it only changes the view for THAT view.  I can't find out how to save it for all locations.

Is there a way to set a global default view so I don't have to go through the pain of customizing each and every view?

probably the best course of action for you is to utilise the presets function on the customise current view dialogue.

You will notice the two preset buttons, one for 'columns to show' and one for 'sorting'
After setting a view the way you like, save these two as presets, and you can then load them into other views.
Yes, you will need to do one at a time.

And after doing manually about 10 times, the presets don't seem so bad.
