Any chance of getting adobe illustrator files to be included in the list of file types for auto import?

Also, question for those in the know: Why is it that until photoshop 7, you could see thumbnails of the files in explorer, but since CS you can't?

Is Bridge able to display illustrator/photoshop thumbnails because it's part of the adobe "in club"? How could we get MC to be allowed in to the gang?
