Hi -

Has anyone got ratings to transfer to/from a WM5 device?  The update log for MC12 looks like it should work, but no go for me.  Device is connecting via Active sync and showing up as a handheld in MC, but I don't know if there's anything else specific I need to do to sync ratings between the two devices.

ActiveSync could create problems for MC12.  Are you using MC to sync?

I've got a WM6 device and can now sync music and playlists just fine (had problems with WM5) - let me know where to look for the stats and I'll let you know if it works!

In MC's options for the device, you have to tell MC to get the stats.

Thanks Jim, found the option, and ticked away.....but:
1) how can I tell if the stats are being updated
2) what are the stats used for
3) does it then work with the LAST.FM plugin to update the stats there as well?

I have Activesync 4.2, but am using Media Center to do the actual syncing.  The files sync fine, it's just that my ratings don't show up on my phone, and anything I rate on the phone doesn't transfer back over to MC.
