More library server trouble
« on: April 25, 2007, 03:31:45 pm »

A while back, I was receiving errors when I tried to connect to library server from a specific computer at school.  I switched ports used and I can now connect.  However, when I try to play a song, I get the "Media Center encountered errors while trying to play the last several files.  Please make sure that the path in your media library points to the right location."

On my personal laptop on what appears to be the same network, everything works fine.  Cover art and images/thumbnails download fine.

I just tried MP3 files and they work fine!  I have conversion enabled.  That's crazy!  It appears to JUST be FLAC that is giving me trouble.

It has been a while since I created a fresh MC database.  Would that potentially help?

Which version of MC are you using?

When I checked, it was 207 if I recall correctly.  I wasn't logged on as an administrator at the time and couldn't update to the latest or I would have.  The server is running the second to most recent post here (same I think).
