Greetings,

I am a registered user of Media Jukebox and I need some help with a project.

I subscribe to a satellite TV service that has music channels.  I would like to record music on CD's to play in my car.  I don't care about "clean" starts & stops, I just want to record until the CD is full then stop.

Any suggestions on how to do this ?

I'm imagining a scenerio where I start recording and then pull a CD from my burner to play on the drive to work then next morning.

I know how to record from line in, but how do I leave the system recording unattended and have it stop when it reaches the complete contend of one CD ?

If I was trying to do this with a cassette recorder I would start recording, and the recorder would turn off when it reached the end of the cassette.

So far as I know, MJ would continue recording until my hard drive was full, and then I wouldn't have a way to "cut out" 70 minutes of music for my CD.

It isn't possible now.  You have to use the line in recording and then burn a CD later.

Well, you might experiment with Media Scheduler, but I don't think it will do this exactly.
